Last week I had the privilege of visiting The Beauty Bus in Brownwood, Texas, which just opened in the old Harper House (and y’all, they completely redid it — FABULOUS).

Thursday night was a little family adventure — dove hunting out in the Texas countryside. One of these days I’ll put together a reel of all the funny behind-the-scenes comments, because the laughs were nonstop. 😂

🏈 Brownwood Friday Night Lights

If you’re from Texas, you know Friday nights are reserved for football under the lights.

We met up with friends before the Brownwood game, the boys ran off with their buddies, and then we all regrouped at the stadium.

The scoreboard didn’t land in our favor, but I loved seeing this new coaching staff and group of kids work together. It’s going to be a good year of growth — just like the first year of any new business or sport.

After the game, Mitchell and I cruised around listening to the coaches show — a little impromptu date night. 💕

Saturday we celebrated Brodie and Blake’s birthdays at the Boxcar out at Lake Brownwood. Super fun day! We even earned “cool aunt and uncle” points by gifting them betta fish. 🐟
